After 30+ years with NMM, our clientele and workshop ability has changed and evolved into new strengths, turning our sights onto agricultural, automotive, design and manufacturing.

Logan Ruddell

Director of our sister company Helmsdale Hives (100% Raw New Zealand Honey) for the past 4 years, Logan is a keen innovator with kiwi ingenuity.

Serving as director of Northern Marine Machining for 8 years, Logan brings a plethora of experience from a range of industries; working as BPC Manager for Manuka Health, Project Leader at Compac; installing and servicing fruit grading machines internationally, as well as a long history with scrap metals, welding, tool making, machining and much more.

Bill Ruddell

Owner and Director of Northern Marine Machining 2010 Ltd (now Honey Badger Industries) Bill has had well over 40 years experience as a welder, fabricator, fitter, designer, consultant and engineer.

An old school, ‘old world’ meets new, innovator and kiwi craftsman with incredible stories from real-world ‘coal face’ New Zealand industries.

Bill’s wealth of knowledge is called upon with many different projects relating to welding, stainless steel, building & construction, factories, manufacturing, special metals, marine -superyachts, boats, ships, military, housing, metal polishing and even metal artwork.
